UNITY CANDLE

A symbolic ceremony highlighting the new family still enhancing your individuality. The bride and groom are handed two individual candles and helped light them: in turn, the couple lights the center candle, representing the unity of their new family. The bride and groom will not lose their personal identity, instead, they will use their individuality to create and strengthen the relationship of marriage.
Therefore all three candles remain lit. The mothers, or the parents, may be included in this ritual, highlighting the heritage that is passed on.
