WHY A SYMBOLIC CEREMONY?
A traditional church or civil ceremony does not fit in with everyone’s position on life or expectation. A symbolic ceremony can take place anywhere and be designed to suit your needs. It may be devised to be as serious as a church or city hall wedding, but with the key elements replaced by the words and the music that are special to you. It can be as romantic and creative as you wish, and be held in gardens, castles, villas, or beaches.
WHO GETS TO DECIDE?
Nothing is forced on you; I will show you what your possibilities are, and you will have the last word: I will maybe mention what others have done, and help you adapt what you like to the idea you have of your ceremony. Together, we will decide on what readings, music, rituals, and other details will best suit your needs.
WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF RAIN?
Having lived in Tuscany for over twenty years, I know several venue that offer both indoors and outdoors corners to hold your ceremony, and will personally inspect locations that you may have chosen yourselves.
WHAT COSTS SHOULD WE CONSIDER?
As they do not include any paperwork, symbolic celebrations only imply the rental of a location, and my fee, which you will find amazingly reasonable. I will also provide the materials needed to perform the ceremony we will create together.
WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF CANCELLATION?
. Once your decision has been made, you will be sent our contract, with cancellation policy and payment details; special deals will be made in case of last-minute bookings.
CAN WE PRETEND THAT OUR MARRIAGE IS CIVIL?
We can't read the articles of the law or wear a fake tricolor sash because we risk incurring criminal sanctions. But together we can create a symbolic ceremony that is absolutely personalized and that totally reflects who you are and speaks of your love and commitment to each other in front of your guests.
